Sometimes it is necessary to extract the manufacturers data from a set of DDR ram boards, this may be needed to validate that the parts were part of a computer system used in a forensic incident.

Below we see the data extractor system connected to a DDR2 PCB

The actual data extracted from the PCB can then be viewed in the  Hex editor window ready to be saved or edited and re-written back out to the configuration chip.
