Building own firmware for G10
« on: September 04, 2011, 06:39:11 PM »
Hi people,
I've been trying to build my own firmware for the G10, but found all kinds of problems.
The code from Freescale (r10.3) compiles fine, it boots fine into Android 2.3.4, but all essential hardware doesn't work.
Touchscreen, WiFi, keypad just don't work at all. Even the event files in /dev/input (and getevent) don't show anything.
Did anybody succeed building a working firmware for this tablet? I'd mainly like to hear about the necessary mxc_ts patches.
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,

There has been some success with one user building a full firmware.
It is documented in another part of the forum.
